Circa 2003 Anderson set out to produce the Art House thriller, “Beneath the Mississippi,” which went on to win the Audience Choice and Pro-Am Feature Eddy Awards at the Cedar Rapids Independent Film Festival and the Audience Choice Award at the Landlocked Film Fest (2008). He has also produced the award winning short “Drop Gun” (Best Short Film Cedar Rapids, 2009 IMPA Awards of Excellence for Best Actress, Best Director, Best Director of Photography, and Best Editor, 2009).
Anderson's film "Finding John Smith" (which he wrote and produced) is an official selection of the Beloit International Film Festival. Currently Anderson is working on pre-production for the feature film “Blue Motel”, script development of “Inside the Circle” and development funding for “Drop Gun”.
Tim's 30 years of sales and marketing experience have helped him with the distribution and sale of his own films and he is pleased to be able to offer this service to other producers.
Georgia Menides Market Coordinator-Acquisitions
Georgia Menides is an independent art junkie. She has written, produced, designed, marketed, and coordinated the premieres for numerous independent films, film festivals, arts events, television, theaters and web series, over the course of her 16 years in the industry. Her scripts include award winning Inside the Butterfly Net, and the edgy record store comedy Words that Rhyme.
She wrote and produced the dark teen film, Still Green (starring Sarah Jones and Noah Segan) which won Best Feature Film (New England Film Festival 2007), Best Ensemble Cast (Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival, 2007), and Best Festival Film (2008, Popcorn N Roses).
Before starting at Pathfinder, she worked in marketing, PR, sponsorship or development on projects for organizations such as The Austin Film Society, Veer West Pictures, WCCA TV 13, Crewestone Entertainment, The Urban Skateboard Association, The Queer Lounge (Sundance Film Festival), Lipstick Traces, and Ojai Word Festival to name a few. She is a published author and poet.
Her passion for the city’s film community has led to exciting volunteer work as well. Some highlights include sponsorship director for Tisch West Cinema Club, selection committee for The Valley Film Festival, and film critic at Film Threat.
Dana Schroeder Director
A member of the DGA, Dana Schroeder is also a producer, executive producer, and screenwriter. He began his film career in 1985 as a film financier for several companies in Canada. He has worked in a variety of genres, including comedy, drama, thriller, sci-fi, and fantasy. His first feature, the provocative comedy Behaving Badly was the opening night selection at the La Femme Film Festival in 2007, and was praised as "one of the most well-written and well-acted independent films in years." - Michael St. John, Entertainment Editor - Beverly Hills Canyon News.
His most recent film, Gemini Rising, stars Lance Henriksen, John Savage, Amy Hathaway and Brian Krause. Schroeder built the FX team for this sci fi action thriller using a revolutionary style of compositing and software never before used on a feature film.
Self financing a film production and distribution business, Dana also owns a post production facility, a film equipment rental business, and a visual effects operation that employs 30 digital artists worldwide.
